Initiative Description: A universal-free school breakfast program (USBP). Children and their parents in three inner city schools were recruited for this study, prior to the implementation of the USBP.

Study Results: Improvements in math grades and behavior were found to be significantly related to changes in nutrient intake (F = 3.3, d.f. = 2, p < 0.05).
