School Breakfast Program
Initiative Description: Breakfasts were prepared by a hired Food Technician (who arrived at the preschool about an hour before the children) in accordance with the School Breakfast Program (SBP) Guidelines formulated by the federal government. Menus varied across the eight weeks of the program.
Study Results:Improvements in battery of cognitive tests were of a greater magnitude in the SBP group.
