Rights, Respect, and Responsibility

Initiative Description: A whole-school rights-based reform initiative called Rights, Respect, and Responsibility which aimed to create a school climate in which all staff and students are aware of and respect the rights of others. Particular attention is paid to the child’s right to participation. Children play a meaningful role in school rules, policies, hiring, and expenditures.

Study Results: Increased personal accomplishment, Reduced emotional exhaustion.
