Initiative Description: Literature review on active transport and afterschool programs and the effects on CVFitness
Study Results: Sixty-eight different studies met the inclusion criteria. Evidence of moderate quality indicated active transport to school as a way to improve cardiovascular fitness. More evidence is needed for Afterschool programs.
