There is a significant body of literature concerning policies, programs, and practices for comprehensive school health; however, there remained a need to translate and organize the evidence-based strategies that exist into a high quality and usable resource for researchers and practitioners.
The creation of this site responds to this need. The purpose is to provide school wellness practitioners and researchers an easy-to-access website where they can identify existing evidence-based practices related to the ten WSCC component areas that apply to their needs related to improving health or academic performance in schools.
Each result provides a description of the initiative that was implemented, the specific study results, reference, level of evidence (Blueprints Standards of Evidence), and a link to the initiative´s website for more resources (if available).
