Initiative Description: Implemented a stress inoculation training, which is a cognitive-behavioral approach to enhancing stress coping skills made up of: (1)presentation of a conceptual framework (education phase), (2) training in relaxation and cognitive restructuring (rehearsal phase), and (3) practice using coping skills (application phase). Homework was assigned to enforce the daily practicing of coping skills.
Study Results: Reduced teacher stress.
