The homeworks related to literacy, maths, physical education, citizenship, personal, social and health education subject areas of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 in England. The homeworks were developed specifically for AFLY5 by the research team and two local teachers who worked for the Healthy Schools Program.

Study Results:T he majority of homeworks were enjoyed by parents and children. All the schools put information about the project in the newsletter and this was recalled by parents. Most parents felt the homeworks were a practical way of involving them.
