Animating Learning by Integrating and Validating Experience (ALIVE) Program

Initiative Description: ALIVE – a K-12 trauma-informed social and behavioral support program that focuses on three-tiered model of prevention, assessment and addressing trauma-related behaviors within the school setting. Similar to a response-to-intervention model that uses a multitiered approach for comprehensive intervention, the ALIVE program’s three tiers are systematically designed to gradually increase the amount of individual engagement based on a student’s needs.

Study Results: Improved social development and academic performance.
