Mindfulness Ambassador Council Program

Initiative Description:  A 12 theme-based lessons presented weekly for 60 to 90 minutes – with lessons focused on mindfulness, paying attention, compassion, emotional intelligence, gratitude delivered with mindful breathing practices, small group work, and discussion.

Study Results: Improved social skills and provided participants with opportunities for personal growth, specifically in the areas of stress reduction, relaxation, social awareness, self-discovery, and relationship building.
