The 4R Program

Initiative Description: The 4Rs program delivered a social & emotional learning program that was integrated into the language arts curriculum for children in grades K-5. Teachers delivered 3 quarters of a lesson in the 4Rs curriculum per week during the first year of the program, which averaged about 40 minutes a week

Study Results: The program resulted in lower levels of children’s self-reports of hostile attributional biases and depression symptoms.
