The Gatehouse Project
Initiative Description: An English classroom curriculum of 20 lessons taught for 45 minutes covering communication in the classroom, dealing with feelings of anxiety or low mood, recognizing and reframing common difficulties, and developing a sense of trust in others and the development of a school based action team to implement relevant social learning and health promotion strategies or programs) resulted in (a) prevention of bullying and victimization, (b) enhancing communication and social connectedness, and (c) promoting positive regard through valued participation.
Study Results: Improved student well-being.
