PriMa Program
Initiative Description: Each lesson begins with a specially designed poster. On each poster, a Barbie doll in the role of a girl on her way to AN is presented (e.g. first lesson: Barbie is winning a model competition and everyone is acclaiming her). The authors provide profound access and unexpected insights concerning patients, their families and the associated social implications of AN. Group discussion and interactions are then encouraged.
Study Results: Improved knowledge and self-esteem
