Initiative Description: Mindfulness training: programs such as Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction programs, Stress Management & Relaxation Training in Education (SMART), Cultivating Awareness and Resilience in Education (CARE). Mindfulness training includes eight weekly 2.5-h sessions, which incorporate formal mindfulness practices (e.g. sitting and movement meditation, body scanning and mindful eating), experiential group discussion, psycho-education and home practices
Study Results: Increased mindfulness, Increased self-compassion, Increased professional self-efficacy, Reduced teacher stress.
