Initiative Description: 5 lessons (45 min each). A first aid instructor using a glove puppet to ease the contact to the children performed one lesson once a week. This teaching program is adapted to the needs and abilities of 6–7-year-old children to introduce elementary knowledge of first aid. Children were assessed on how to behave in an simulated emergency setting.
Study Results: Increased first aid knowledge and ability to perform basic first aid skills.
