The BASE Program
Initiative Description: The program was integrated into the 3rd and 4th grade curriculum, including games, homework that required different froms of expression (writing, drawing, drama), and activties to foster inter personal skills. Teachers received training on the program and manuals to guide the prcess over the school year.
Study Results: Academic improvements were positively associated to increased well-being & self-esteem (as reported by students & teachers)
