Achieving Success Everyday (ASE)

Initiative Description: Each session comprised an introduction, a personal-social component, an academic component, and a closing. The ASE model progresses through six phases: assessment, review, acquaintance, challenge, empowerment, and support

Study Results: The results of the group intervention showed that the students’ collective group GPA increased by .35 points. Four of the seven participants’ GPA increased by .5 or higher. Students also gained a deeper understanding of resiliency.
