Initiative Description: Multicultural developmental counseling intervention for 3rd graders. The guidance sessions were held in the students’ homerooms during times that were scheduled by the teachers and the school counselor. Study Results: Improved social skills; students seemed more tolerant of cultural differences and generally got along better after the intervention.
