Initiative Description: School‐based sleep hygiene. The sleep hygiene program was performed at the school for a one‐week period named “sleep hygiene week”. Each day the students had a 50min class. The program was performed by the authors of this article and different activities were applied each day including an ontogeny map to discuss the modifications that occur in the sleep-wake cycle, posters and group discussions.
Study Results: Students showed a reduction in their index of sleep irregularity (represented by standard deviation from bedtime), their sleep latency decreased and their nap–wake up schedule advanced.
