The Power Plate Program (PPP)
Initiative Description: The Power Plate Program (PPP) was deﬁned as the most healthful combination of foods available within the school lunch program: plain milk, a vegetable, a fruit and an entrée with whole grain (sold together). Stickers, bracelets and temporary tattoos were given to students who chose the PPP.
Study Results: All healthful foods had increased selection with plain milk having the greatest increase.
