Strategies To Enhance Practice (STEPs) intervention program
Initiative Description: 3 year implementation (immediate and delayed intervention groups) of Strategies To Enhance Practice (STEPs) intervention program, an intentional programming of physical activity opportunities in afterschool program’s daily schedule and professional development training.
Study Results: Immediate boys and delayed girls increased the percent achieving 30 min MVPA/day from 35.9% to 47.0% and 13.1% to 19.1%.
