Initiative Description: The drug use prevention curriculum in the present study consisted of 3 modules and 10 single-hour lessons integrated into a health education class. The first module ‘‘healthy drug- free journey’’ consisted of four lessons including cherishing life, liking yourself, assertive refusal, and brain power. The second module ‘‘go assertively’’ consisted of two lessons that included the 3Cs (clarify, consider and choose), and assertiveness. The third module ‘‘anti-drug team’’ consisted of four lessons: refusal, idol, critical media literacy, and anti-drug super star.
Study Results: Improved knowledge and attitudes regarding substance use.
