The building schools of character (BSC) program.

Initiative Description: The building schools of character (BSC) program is designed to provide universal (schoolwide character education), targeted (restorative processes), and intensive (child-centered school support center (SSC)) strategies and results in students significantly
increasing their on-task interactions and significantly decreased their disruptive behaviors during group learning.

Study Results: Positive effects were found on teacher talk, student on-task behavior, as well as decreased disruptive incidences during class and office referrals for antisocial behavior.
